One of Cartier’s most iconic collections, the Santos de Cartier family was introduced in 1904 as the result of a promise Louis Cartier made to Alberto Santos-Dumont to create the first ever wristwatch suitable for flying.
This Large Santos de Cartier Men’s Watch retains many of the iconic features of the pioneering design.
Set within a robust, 40mm stainless steel case, the silvered, opaline dial is equipped with blued-steel, sword-shaped hands and a date window, framed by an 18ct yellow gold bezel and seven-sided crown set with a faceted spinel. Rounded angles, seamlessly curved horns and exposed screws pay tribute to the original, ground-breaking model.
With two straps to choose from, this handsome timepiece can be easily customised to suit your mood and your look. Choose from the stainless steel bracelet with 18ct yellow gold screws and the soft, brown calfskin leather strap with adjustable buckle. The straps are easily interchangeable thanks to the addition of the QuickSwitch system.
