The Top Time launched in the 1960s as Breitling’s “unconventional chronograph,” created for a new, youthful, and speed-obsessed audience. In Thunderball(1965), Sean Connery wore a Top Time ref. 2002 while driving the DB5, linking the two through style as much as engineering. This limited-edition 18k red-gold execution features an onyx dial, cut from natural stone, with a wooden inner bezel that enhances the tone and presence of the case. Individually numbered to 250 pieces, it reflects the same attention to material integrity and finishing found in the DB5’s interior, where every surface is shaped by hand.
