Every watch in the Watches of Switzerland Certified Pre-Owned collection undergoes a meticulous five-point inspection by our expert watchmakers
01 Full Authenticity Assessment
The watchmaker will first verify the watch’s authenticity by cross-referencing its serial numbers with the brand’s official information. Our experts also confirm authenticity through meticulous scrutiny checks.
02 Diagnostic Test
The watchmaker will assess the watch aesthetically, identifying any parts that may need replacement. They will then disassemble the watch to check its internal functionality and diagnose any operational issues.
03 Time Regulation Test
The watchmaker will test the timekeeping accuracy of the watch and conduct a full power-reserve test. They will make any adjustments to the internal mechanisms to correct deviations in timekeeping.
04 Water-resistance Test
The expert watchmaker will test the water resistance of the glass, crown and back seals. Necessary repairs or replacements will be made, based on the results of these tests.
05 Ultrasonic Clean And Polish
Each component is meticulously disassembled for ultrasonic cleaning. The parts are then relubricated and reassembled. Finally, the case and bracelet are sent to our refinishing department for polishing.

Do you offer finance?
We are pleased to confirm we offer 0% APR Interest Free Credit option online and within our showrooms. To find out more information about our payment plans please click here or contact your local showroom. Interest Free Credit is not available within our Airport and Pre-Owned Showrooms.
How long is your online delivery?
At Watches of Switzerland we wish for your purchase to arrive in perfect condition. Therefore, delivery will be made by our insured courier service and will reach you within 1-5 working days. All delivery times mentioned are subject to stock availability. Some of the brands we stock online can only be ordered directly from their stock. If your item has to be ordered direct, we will be unable to despatch your order within our 'normal' 1-5 day delivery, we will contact you to discuss and advise. Delivery times are extended over bank holidays and maybe extended as the result of any adverse weather conditions that are beyond our control. Please view our Delivery Information page.
Does your website ship internationally?
Unfortunately we are only authorised to despatch items to clients within the UK and Northern Ireland.
Do you offer Tax Free Shopping?
The UK government withdrew the option for both EU and non-EU nationals to shop tax-free in Great Britain from 1 January 2021. If people wish to shop tax-free and are not resident in the UK then the goods will need to be exported by us directly to their overseas residential address.
Please note that we are not able to make sales outside of the UK from our online platforms.
How many years of warranty do I receive with a purchase?
Each of our watches has a minimum of two years warranty. Depending on the Watch and manufacturer, they may be offering further years. Our showroom and Online team would be happy to confirm this for you.
Do you have an after care service?

Can you special order items?
We have a superior product selection available within our stores. We may be able to arrange a stock transfer for you or offer a special order service. To find out if this is available, please contact your local store or terminal of departure.
Do you offer insurance?
We offer our 'Watches of Switzerland Protect' insurance service and we would recommend a policy is added with your purchase. Watches of Switzerland Protect offers immediate cover for your precious new item so you are protected from the moment you leave our showroom. Watches of Switzerland Protect is not available online or in our Airport stores For further details, please contact your local showroom or our online team.
UK VAT & Channel Islands
As our website is a mainland UK trading website, all orders are charged at the full UK VAT rate at the time the order is placed.

In most cases our pre-owned watches are reconditioned and serviced by the brands themselves before they arrive in our showrooms. They are also brand-certified, fully warranted and guaranteed so you can have every confidence in your purchase. Any pre-owned watch over 20 years old will hold its value much better than anything else in the marketplace today. The older the watch is, the more unique the piece is, limiting the chances of ever encountering another person with the same watch.
