IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition MPN: IW389103
£8,490.00
Description
The Pilot’s collection was created to deliver outstanding timekeeping in the skies while paying tribute to the long-lasting relationship between aviation and IWC.
The first watch with a case crafted from sand-coloured ceramic, this Top Gun Edition Mojave Desert Watch was introduced at the 2019 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva.
Inspired by the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, the 44.5mm sand-coloured ceramic case and sand-coloured textile strap perfectly match the uniforms worn by Navy pilots.
The dark brown dial optimises performance with a stopwatch function, a day and date display and a luminescent finish for optimum visibility regardless of the conditions.
A 60-hour power reserve, a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields, and glass secured against displacement by a drop in air pressure further enhance functionality.
Powered by an automatic, self-winding 69380 IWC-manufactured calibre movement, this unique timepiece is water resistant to 60 metres.
Limited to 500 pieces.
