From deep space, comes this powerful version of the Moonwatch "Dark Side of the Moon". Machined from a single block of black ceramic, the iconic 44.25 mm Speedmaster case is completed by a brushed ceramic bezel with matt chromium nitride tachymeter scale.
The dial is again created from polished black ceramic and features blackened applied subdial rings at 3 and 9 o'clock, as well as 18K white gold applied indexes.
Driven by OMEGA's Co-Axial Calibre 9300, this bold timepiece is finished with a black nylon strap that includes a new ceramic and titanium foldover clasp. The hands are diamond-polished 18K white gold, except for the central seconds hand which is polished, rhodium plated with a red tip.
Calibre Omega 9300: Self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial escapement. Silicon balance-spring on free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions. Rhodium plated finish with exclusive Geneva waves in arabesque.
Automatic Watch: A self-winding watch or automatic watch uses a mechanical movement whose main spring is wound automatically by the natural motion of the wearer's arm.
Ceramic Watch: A casebody created from a single block of pressed ceramic, which is first heated in an oven and then three-dimensionally machined. OMEGA's ceramic watch cases are extremely scratch-resistant and shock-resistant.
Chronograph: The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.
Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
Date: The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial at the 3 or 6 o’clock position, or within a subdial at 9 o'clock.
Small Seconds: A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.
Transparent Case Back: A transparent case back - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
Coated nylon fabric strap with foldover clasp
Scratch?resistant sapphire crystal with anti?reflective treatment on both sides
