There are just 3,500 pieces of this particular ‘Samurai’ “Shu-iro”design available, which has been created exclusively for Europe.
This specific watch is nicknamed ‘Samurai’ by our fans because of its angular shaped design which looks as if it were sliced by a Japanese Samurai sword.
This timepiece will be engraved with its limited edition number on the caseback and is accompanied by a limited edition box and an additional silicone strap. Featuring a ceramic inset uni-directional bezel and sapphire crystal with magnified date and a non-reflective coating on the inner surface, the watch is of a high specification.
Seiko Prospex watches are designed for sports lovers and adventure seekers in the water, in the sky or on land – and are robust for everyday wear, whatever the environment. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative watchmaking has changed global dive watch standards.
The colour scheme of the dial is inspired by the “Shu-iro” which is a vermilion colour-lacquered armour used by the naval forces. It was said that wearing this red, the most conspicuous colour on the battlefield, proved that you were brave and courageous, and that your courage could inspire not only yourself but also your entire troop. In this limited edition, “Shu-iro” is used for the entire dial creating a powerful presence on your wrist.
