Our UK exclusive to the Watches of Switzerland Group

Following the global press launch on 27th October at our Knightsbridge Watches of Switzerland showroom, we are delighted to present the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Aston Martin Edition – launching exclusively in the UK with the Watches of Switzerland Group.

The prestigious event facilitated 1-2-1 appointments to view and experience this remarkable timepiece for both the press and our valued clients. Followed by an evening reception of drinks and canapés, the room was full of life and energetic discussion about this stunning new limited-edition piece, exclusive to the Watches of Switzerland Group for the month of November.

We had no doubt in partnering with Girard-Perregaux to launch their latest exclusive; the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition. A masterpiece that not only delivers on aesthetics but in functionality too. We have seen the craftsmanship, expertise, and true partnership of two prestigious maisons collide. I am sure there is more to come with the partnership, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds.Heather Grant, Specialist Watch Buyer

The Laureato was first launched in 1975 with a sporty elegance that perfectly blends aesthetics and functionality to universal appeal. It was only a matter of time until the Laureato was to become the next collection in line for an Aston Martin collaboration.

Limited to just 188 pieces, the Laureato Aston Martin Edition demonstrates the perfect union between Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin with the ultimate sporting complication; the chronograph. As the only Laureato with a sapphire crystal caseback featuring a decal of the Aston Martin logo, the beating heart of the GP03300 calibre is displayed with pride, parading its flawlessly executed detail. The 904L steel case is presented on a corresponding integrated bracelet and the octagonal bezel in a round shape for which the Laureato is famed continues to nurture the identity of the Laureato family.

Perhaps the most stunning design aesthetic is the attention to detail on the dial. The striking green dial, inspired by the Aston Martin Green features a cross-hatching pattern on the dial, reflective of the pattern still found on the Aston Martin cars of today and derived from the first Aston Martin logo in 1921. Skeletonised hands echo the front grille and lateral ventilations of this sporty car, and the central seconds hand draws inspiration from the side strakes featured on Aston Martin roadcars.

This stunning emblematic fusion of design aesthetics and technological prowess is elegant at all times. Chic yet sporty with clean lines and radiant finishes, the Girard-Perregaux Aston Martin Edition harnesses versatility for any occasion.
