Designed in 1963 by Jack Heuer as a loving tribute to the most dangerous motor race in the world – the Carrera Panamericana – the Carrera watch has always been associated with life on the road. Built specifically for use by professional drivers, the original Carrera watch broke all the rules and ushered in a new era of timepiece design.
The TAG Carrera Heuer 01 proves that elements of contemporary and traditional design can work together with ease.
Housed by a durable 43mm stainless steel case and framed by a blue ceramic bezel presenting a tachymeter scale, the striking skeleton dial showcases luminescent tipped hands and hour markers, red-tipped accents, three chronographic dials at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock and a date window at 3.30. Protected by a sapphire crystal glass, this timepiece is also water resistant to 300 metres and has an impressive power reserve of 50 hours.
This watch also features a luxurious blue alligator leather strap with a secure buckle that adds yet another eye-catching dimension to this watch.
