About this watch

With only 300 16800 COMEX models ever made, this is an unbelievably sought after watch for any serious watch collector.

Never released to the public, these watches were exclusively given to COMEX divers, and they embody the resilience and craftsmanship of Rolex timepieces.

This specific example comes with all the provenance of the original diver; photographs of him diving with the watch, his diving certification, and further in-depth historical provenance, including a signed letter from the diver confirming receiving the watch and wearing it for COMEX dives. All parts to this are original and the watch has only had a vintage restoration by Rolex.

This is the first COMEX to go through the RCPO programme in the world.

Two-years international guarantee

Delivered at the time of sale, the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned guarantee card officially confirms that the watch is genuine on the date of purchase and guarantees its proper functioning for a period of two years from this date.
