Swiss luxury watchmaker, Breitling, is proud to unveil the latest in the collection of Limited-Edition pieces in partnership with the Royal Air Force – the exclusive Chronomat Red Arrows Limited Edition. Breitling is the principal supplier of aviation watches as well as being the official sponsor of the world-renowned Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows. Following a partnership with the Royal Air Force that dates back 30 years, this stunning timepiece is the latest in a celebrated line of Limited-Edition timepieces born out of this enviable collaboration, and one which we are notably excited about.
Breitling is the only luxury watch brand to be given exclusive permission to feature the emblems unique to the distinguished Red Arrows aerobatic team. Each of the Red Arrows timepieces are highly sought-after collector’s editions with a legacy that lives on through generations and this latest model is no exception. Limited to just 160 pieces, every timepiece pays tribute to each Red Arrows display pilot that has flown and served with the team since the inauguration in 1965.

The stunning RAF blue dial is offset with black sub-dials and Super-LumiNova® luminescent indexes and hands. The Red Arrows Diamond Nine logo contrasts beautifully and takes pride of place at 12 o’clock where you would have ordinarily seen the Breitling logo. The 42mm stainless steel-case features a ratcheted unidirectional rotating bezel and four iconic interchangeable rider tabs, unique to the Chronomat. Presented on a retro style Rouleaux bracelet with butterfly clasp, it is a classic expression of the modern-retro style we come to expect of Breitling. The caseback is equally as eye-catching with the Royal Air Force insignia featured in full colour for the first time on the transparent sapphire crystal. In addition, the words ‘one of 160’ are engraved as a patriotic tribute to each of the serving pilots. Breitling’s in-house Manufacture Calibre 01, certified by the COSC – the official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute, powers the watch with accuracy, precision, and reliability – a perfect complement to the partnership.

To commemorate this special release, Breitling has partnered with British luxury leather goods manufacturer, Ettinger, to create a unique Double Watch Roll featuring Breitling, Royal Air Force, and the Red Arrows logos. Ettinger epitomises British excellence and craftsmanship and the luxury brand was granted a Royal Warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales back in 1996.
