Unexpected and pure “joy” Oris and Disney’s The Muppets Kermit the Frog get together for a bit of fun and to create “Kermit Day” with a very special edition of the ProPilot X Kermit Edition.

Inspired by the joy of mechanics, every Oris timepiece aspires to make people smile, and in the brand’s pursuit to find the ultimate expression of this, a collaboration with an icon has been born. A collaboration with the easiest guy on the planet: Kermit the Frog from The Muppet Show. Kermit’s role is to entertain, to put a smile on our faces.

The watch is based on the 39mm titanium ProPilot X Calibre 400, only it’s got a green dial – and a twist. On the first of every month, the date window at 6 o’clock will be filled with a Kermit the Frog emoji. “Kermit Day” is all about not taking life too seriously. This is no April fool, Oris is seriously unserious about it and its sure to become quite the collector’s piece.

The fun goes beyond the timepiece as well, in line with the launch Oris will be releasing a TV ad with Kermit the Frog, who performs a new song namely “Gotta Make Time For Me”. Question is will the song become a No.1 hit.
